This website is operated by Terry Ojiambo, a Fractional CMO and Strategic Marketing Executive based in Nairobi, Kenya. Terry Ojiambo is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can contact her at terryojiambo@gmail.com.
2. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Direct contact: if you email or message Terry Ojiambo directly (via email or LinkedIn), the name, email address and content of that message.
- Analytics data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and time spent on pages, collected via Google Analytics (if enabled) or Vercel Analytics.
We do not collect payment data, sensitive personal data or data from children under 13.
3. Why We Collect It
- To respond to your enquiry; if you contact Terry Ojiambo directly, your details are used solely to reply to you. Legal basis: contractual necessity (preparing to enter a contract or responding to a pre-contractual request).
- To understand site traffic; analytics data helps improve the site experience. Legal basis: legitimate interest, where cookieless analytics are used; consent, where cookie-based analytics are used.
4. How Long We Retain Data
- Direct contact (email or LinkedIn): retained for 12 months after last contact, then deleted.
- Analytics data: subject to the data retention settings of each analytics provider (Google Analytics default is 14 months; Vercel Analytics does not store personal data).
